We periodically test our pellets to insure their quality. The latest test results from Twin Prots Testing, Incorporated are included below.
Density: Consistent hardness and energy content of 40 pounds per cubic foot. Our pellets exceeded this standard and tested at 44.97 pounds per cubic foot.
Fines: Limited amount of sawdust from pellet breakdown to avoid dust while loading and problems with pellet flow during stove operation. Standard: amount of fines passing through a 1/8” screen no more than .50% by weight. Our pellets surpassed this standard testing at .43%.
